A Hoboken-based band fronted by Glenn Morrow, whose career stretches back to the 1986 album by his band Rage To Live, releases its new album Our Final Album Vol. 1 on July 17 — 11 tracks (44:26) recorded in Montclair, New Jersey, and produced by Ray Ketchem. Twelve years into the band's run, Morrow's voice remains sharp and expressive, and the group delivers a solid blend of Americana and 80s rock 'n' roll with a distinct Jersey flavor. Opener "Autumn Leaves" sets the tone with a rich mix of American rock, while the punchy "That's That" revives punk-rock energy in the spirit of The Ramones and ? and the Mysterians. The ballad "In Love With Love" wins not through intensity but sincerity, while "Sweater Weather" weaves classic Jersey humor into a melody echoing 1960s pop while still sounding fresh and current. The album's peak comes with "Into Something New" and "Begin Again," carrying echoes of Duke & the Drivers, J. Geils Band, Eddie & the Tide, and Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes.
