Merlin Atmos is the official live album by British progressive rock legends Van Der Graaf Generator, released in February 2015 via Esoteric Recordings (Cherry Red Records). The disc captures the band's performances during their 2013 European tour with their classic trio: Peter Hammill (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Hugh Banton (organ, bass), and Guy Evans (drums).
The highlight of the album (and especially its Deluxe Edition) is the live performances of two monumental 20-minute epics from the 1970s: "Flight" (from Peter Hammill's solo work) and "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers" (from VDGG's iconic 1971 album Pawn Hearts), which were long considered virtually unplayable on stage.
