Aurora Lunare - Aurora Lunare (2013)

Aurora Lunare's 2013 self-titled album is a shining example of the long-awaited return of the classics of the "second wave" of Italian progressive rock. Formed in Livorno back in 1978, the band disbanded before releasing a full-length studio album during its golden era. Thirty-five years after its founding, the band reunited and recorded its debut album for the cult Genoese label Black Widow Records, preserving the authentic spirit, melodicism, and baroque-symphonic aesthetic of RPI's 1970s output.
