Andrew Lockington - The Kindness of Strangers (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (2020)

Andrew Lockington was born in Burlington, Ontario. He recently composed the score to the Warner Bros / Newline Blockbuster “SAN ANDREAS”, which contributed to the film’s $474 million worldwide box office.

However Andrew’s other credits include the Golden Globe nominated “FRANKIE AND ALICE” starring Halle Berry, Fox 2000’s “PERCY JACKSON SEA OF MONSTERS”, Newline’s “JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH”, the Tom Hanks produced “CITY OF EMBER”, the horror film “SKINWALKERS” for Constantine Films and director Brad Peyton’s “JOURNEY TO THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND” for WB / Newline.

Andrew has also scored several award-winning independent films including the Sundance hits “TOUCH OF PINK“, “HOW SHE MOVE” and “LONG LIFE, HAPPINESS AND PROSPERITY” as well as the Toronto Film Festival favorites “SAINT RALPH”, “ONE WEEK” and “SIDDHARTH”. In addition to writing scores, Andrew has written and performed multiple songs for film including Stalking Stars, featured in Ben Affleck’s 2013 OSCAR Best Picture winner “ARGO”, and Move On, featured in Chris Evans directorial debut “BEFORE WE GO”.

In recognition of his work Andrew’s received the ‘BREAKTHROUGH COMPOSER OF THE YEAR’ award at the International Film Music Critics Awards, been nominated for ‘DISCOVERY OF THE YEAR’ at the World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent, Belgium, and won numerous BMI and SOCAN Film Music Awards.

Upcoming releases include the epic STX film “THE SPACE BETWEEN US” for director Peter Chelsom, the Universal/Blumhouse/IMGLOBAL thriller “INCARNATE” and the critically-acclaimed Netflix series “FRONTIER” starring Jason Momoa.
