Emil Friis - I Skattely (Original Score) (2022) [Hi-Res]

Danish composer and artist Emil Friis has spent much of his career in the shadows of the music industry. Originally a singer/songwriter, Friis has evolved into a sought after composer of original scores and title themes, though remained relatively unknown outside the professional world of ‘music for pictures’.
He’s scored Denmark’s most talked about documentary series in 2020; Partiernes Skjulte Overgreb, the multi award winning American short The One You Never Forget, the Prix Europa nominated true crime series Hvid Mands Dagbog, the Cavling Award winning mini series I Skattely. In 2021 he is set to score the American feature film Lonesome Soldier.
A largely self taught musician, through his lack of formal training Emil has created a musical language filled with sensibility, tension, brightness and somber beauty. His work features a mixture of acoustic instruments, piano, strings ect, paired with more ambient and musical sound design elements. He’s released a number of solo albums and singles of his work along with soundtrack releases. He lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
