Eirik Dørsdal - Hvitt (Album) (2022) [Hi-Res]

Eirik Dørsdal is a Norwegian trumpet player, composer, arranger and director. His music has often a strong melodic foundation, and even though a high amount of free improvisation, there’s often more sweetness than anger to find in the music. Through his music he always try to make rooms and spaces where listeners would like to stay in and explore their own manner and pace.
He has worked with Swiss musicians for many years, and have released two album with Swiss/Norwegian/Finnish collaboration «Augur Ensemble». He has also released album and been touring Europe and Japan with duo project «Picidae», and been guest soloist in many different groups. The latest years he has focused on his own projects and done one recording with his own trio (SUMI-E) He is also involved in a Norwegian/Lebanese folk music project, and «Karl Seglem & Christof Stiefel group». Currently situated in the south of Norway, in the small coastal town Risør.
May 20. 2022 is the release-date for his first solo album called Hvitt (White). LP and Digital. ReleaseConcert in Risør
