Alicia de Larrocha - Soler: Piano Sonatas (2023)

Approaching centenary of Alicia de Larrocha, to be celebrated on May 23rd. One of the greatest Spanish instrumentalists of the 20th-century, she was a devoted advocate of her national music, having recorded various recitals for Hispavox that we will highlight in the coming weeks. This collection of eight sonatas brings to light the music of Antonio Soler, heir of Scarlatti and major representative of the Spanish keyboard school of the Classic era.
