With the release of her new CD "Any Other Girl", Temmora pools all her resources to deliver a work of emotional substance. On the duet "There's No Me', she reveals a delicate, vulnerable nature yielding to the life-enhancing force of true love with the vocal honesty and strength of a seasoned diva. "Catch You On The flipside" uses subtle instrumentation as a backdrop for yet sassy personality to take control in a bittersweet one-sided confrontation that proves her ability to lace lyrics romantically through the notes she so purely embraces, reveals not only her musical depth and range, but her understanding that a gifted voice makes the song the star. "Anything For Me", a playful rhythmic dance that mixes urban attitude and Latin beats, creates a unique platform for postioning Temmora high on the pop charts.
Temmora's natural talent was God's gift from her Mother at birth. It developed early under the guideance of her Mother, who was also a singer and knew the value of total commitment and discipline. As an adolescent, Temmora took vocal lessions in jazz and opera, mastering the vocal essentials-clarity, interpretation, phrasing and breath control. Under the tutelage of her manager, she listened to all forms of music from rock, folk & country to blues and soul. That's why so many influences are expressed so clearly in her vocal tone, texture and delivery - Touches of Phyllis Hyman, Anita Baker, Toni Braxton, Janet Jackson, Mary J Blige, Bonnie Raitt, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and Nina Simone.
After a lifetime of preparation, when she finally felt ready to poursue her career with professional integrity, Temmora's primary source of motivation and inspriation was taken from her. After the death of her Mother, Temmora relied on the resources of strength and faith she had modeled for her. Temmora learned the emotional depth necessary to convey a song where it truly communicates, body, heart, spirit and soul, and the satifaction that comes from giving your best to bring joy to others.
