Hard Bargain features soulful vocalist "King Arthur" Canady, often compared to Otis Redding & Sam Cooke, backed by a veteran group of seven, including a tight horn section. "More Than You Bargained For" includes some outstanding originals including "Pop This Pill" (the Viagra song), the bluesy "Forget About It," and the title cut "More Than You Bargained For (Dear Mr. Alligator)". Also featured are 3 unreleased tracks written by Grammy-nominees Jon & Sally Tiven (Wilson Pickett, Little Milton, BB King).
