Ada Morghe - Lost (Deluxe Edition) (2024)

Acclaim for Ada Morghe’s elegantly performed, high concept ‘Lost’ album saw her inspire positive comparisons with exemplary and inspiring artists such as Marianne Faithful, Grace Jones and Nina Simone. Now Ada presents a deeper version of the ‘Lost’ creative vision with the news that the album’s expanded Deluxe Edition, will be released on March 1st. The Deluxe Edition is launched alongside a remix of the original album’s closing song ‘We Are One’ by Cosmodelica.

The Deluxe Edition features a further six additional tracks including a ‘Lost’ remix from influential electronica duo 4hero, ‘The Story’ (already a club chart hit) and ‘Fire Calls’ remixes from the Grammy-nominated producer and DJ Booker T. It is completed by two original new songs which demonstrate Ada’s continuing wealth of inspiration. ‘Back Then’ is an instantly classic torch song with a sun-kissed sheen, while ‘Loving Me’ plays to the warm live energy of Ada’s live shows.

Ada says, “The release of “Lost” last year was the beginning of a magical journey that got me to work and collaborate with some of the finest musicians and DJs – I’m happy to show that even further with the Deluxe version and additional new songs.”

Cosmodelica’s ‘We Are One’ remix deftly switches the tone of the original, infusing it with electrifying dance-pop beats and pushing its rousing keys, funk grooves and call-and-response soul vocals to the top of the mix. Ada’s elegantly expressive lead vocals are still its star turn, and the remix ultimately showcases the song’s uplifting positive message – a celebration of communal spirit as well as humankind’s intrinsic connection to nature – in a new light.

Cosmodelica is Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, a disco doyenne, audio connoisseur and renowned tastemaker whose current projects include the Balearic Breakfast mix series and the relaunched summer party series The Loft. Her remixes have been sought out by an array of artists including Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Shapeshifters, Lady Blackbird, A Certain Ratio and Izo FitzRoy.

Ada will follow the release of the Deluxe Edition by bringing her new ‘Embrace The Now’ show to PizzaExpress Live in London on March 11th. Blending joyous live music with the storytelling narrative of the ‘Lost’ album, the show unites her captivating voice and a phenomenal jazz/soul band, the majority of who also perform on the album: Livingstone Brown (bass), Luca Boscagin (guitar), MckNasty (drums), Luke Smith (keys) and backing vocalists Eliza Mishcon and Katy Jackson.
