Bejuco - Machete (2025) [Hi-Res]

Bejuco is a music group from the mangroves of Tumaco, known as the Pearl of the Pacific. Formed in 2015 as a research lab for marimba and traditional Pacific chants, they blend the sounds of bambuco, bunde, juga, and Afrobeat into a powerful, new musical proposal. Despite their youth, Bejuco’s ten members are seasoned musicians who carry deep knowledge of their culture and rhythms. Their talent and determination have made them one of Tumaco’s standout groups. In 2020, they joined Discos Pacífico and, through virtual collaboration, refined their unique sound rooted in tradition and open to the world.
