The album was produced and arranged by her then-husband, violinist Michał Urbaniak. On the record, Dudziak utilizes her five-octave vocal range, often treating it with electronic devices to create adventurous wordless vocalizing (vocal scat), eschewing traditional lyrics. The instrumental compositions feature elements of jazz-funk, fusion, and soul. The recording involved musicians such as Basil Fearrington (bass), Reggie Lucas (guitar), and Harold Ivory Williams (electric piano, Moog, keyboards). The album includes the track "Papaya," which gained global popularity in Asia and Latin America decades later, in 2007, due to its use on a television game show.
