The Masonics, a Medway-based trio featuring veteran musicians Mickey Hampshire, Bruce Brand, and John Gibbs, are regarded as the premier exponents of the Medway Beat genre. Since 1991, the band has produced an extensive discography of over ten studio albums and has maintained a rigorous international touring schedule, including recent collaborations with the Japanese band The 5.6.7.8’s. Recent highlights include the release of the album "Sursum Tibiam Vestram" and a new 12-inch vinyl compilation of their rock 'n' roll EPs featuring additional tracks and guest vocals by Ludella Black. The group's output is defined by a high-energy fusion of rhythm ’n’ beat and traditional rock 'n' roll.
