Chris Combs is an American guitarist and composer from Tulsa with a thirty-year career rooted in inseparable instrumental mastery and original composition. Since 2007, he has served as the primary composer for the jazz band Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, touring internationally and collaborating with renowned musicians. His works, notably the conceptual album "RaceRiot Suite" (2011) addressing the Tulsa Race Massacre, have received critical acclaim. Down Beat magazine recognized him as a rising star in 2022 and 2023. In 2025, Combs continues his multifaceted work as a solo artist, producer, and collaborator, releasing new albums and performing extensively across America and globally.
