The Belgian rock band Ghinzu returns with their fourth studio album, When Other Worlds Await, marking their first release in 17 years. The final tracklist comprises 10 songs culled from nearly 90 ideas developed over a decade of work. Recorded at Hillside Manor studio in Los Angeles, the album was produced in collaboration with the highly experienced Dave Sardy. In this new release, the band blends their formative influences—ranging from the energy of Queen to the gritty grunge sound of Nirvana—with inspiration drawn from the visual arts of Gerhard Richter and Francis Bacon. By stepping back from perfectionism to embrace raw energy, the band has delivered a mature and emotionally tense record.
