Spacemoth - Inward Eye (2026) [Hi-Res]

Multi-instrumentalist, producer, and audio engineer Maryam Qudus is set to release Inward Eye, the new album under her solo project Spacemoth. The cosmic psychedelic pop release was heavily inspired by the artist's recent touring experiences and her personal project of archiving family home movies. Having worked at Oakland’s Tiny Telephone Recording, Maryam Qudus has collaborated with eclectic acts such as Toro y Moi, Spellling, and Frankie and the Witch Fingers, while also touring alongside Tortoise and Speedy Ortiz, and producing for the psych-rock band La Luz on their album News of the Universe.

The album centers on closely intertwined, cyclical, and pulsating rhythms, exploring themes of memory, connection, and maintaining presence in the digital age. Sonically indebted to the aesthetics of krautrock and avant-pop, the record channels the structural intricacy of Can, Stereolab, Kraftwerk, and Cluster, offering listeners an open canvas to map out their own emotional journeys through meticulously patterned soundscapes.
