Damnation Of Adam Blessing – The Damnation Of Adam Blessing... Plus (Reissue) (1969)

The self-titled debut album by Cleveland band Damnation of Adam Blessing is an undeservedly forgotten gem of American proto-metal and psychedelic hard rock from the late 1960s. Having shared the stage with such titans as The Stooges, MC5, Alice Cooper, and Grand Funk Railroad, the band demonstrated a far more complex compositional structure and meticulous vocal harmonies. The album combines heavy, fuzz-driven guitar aggression with profound anti-war and social undertones. The "...Plus" version is an archival expanded edition, featuring rare single versions, unreleased demo tracks, and bonus live recordings from the period.
