Tiltback - Tiltback (2016)

Tiltback was formed by Tommy McGloin in Anchorage, Alaska to showcase his original music. The musical lineup includes Oliver West on Bass, David Devlin on drums, Levi Betz on guitar, and Tommy McGloin on guitar and lead vocals. Tiltback began performing songs in public in early 2014.

With an amazingly tight set of live shows, Tiltback performed around the downtown Anchorage area in local venues, such as Chilkoot Charlie’s, Humpy’s Great Alaskan Alehouse , Anchorage City Limits Lofts and the Taproot. The momentum continued in the summer of 2014 as Tiltback soon found themselves opening for the “ Young Dubliners” in Homer, Alaska. In 2015, the individual group members began working solo projects, while the artwork/production for Tiltback’s hard earned self-titled debut album were finalized. Released on Valentines Day 2016, the album’s completion celebrates a milestone in Tommy McGloin’s original work and is made possible only by the amazing alignment of talented musicians backing him. Often referred to by fans as the “dream team” for their cohesive and dynamic nature, Tiltback’s story is told.
