Hostsonaten – Winterthrough (2008)

Winterthrough (2008) is the third installment and the culmination of the seminal four-part conceptual cycle "Season Cycle" by Fabio Zuffanti, a key figure in contemporary Italian prog rock. The album is a profound, melancholic exploration of winter's fading, inner silence, and the stillness of nature. Zuffanti and his team create an audiophile-grade, multilayered symphonic canvas that blends the rigor of classical music and the melodicism of the traditional Genoese RPI school with the pastoral precision of instrumental art rock.
