Symbio - Sonder (2026) [Hi-Res]

The Swedish band Symbio have been together for 15 years, a decade of which has been spent on tour, with performances in more than 20 countries. They have now released their fourth album, "Sonder" (out 2 October 2026). Their previous record, "Endeavour", was named "Album of the Year" at the Swedish Folk & World Music Awards in 2023, so the new work arrives on the back of significant recognition.

The central theme of "Sonder" is relationships and the way they transform us. Songs titled "Parting Road", "Synergy" and "The Tapestry Within" approach the subject from different angles: what happens to a person in encounters with other people, and what shifts in their relationship with themselves.

The album contains nine original compositions, written and played entirely by the members of Symbio.

All music composed and played by Symbio:
Johannes Geworkian Hellman: hurdy-gurdy, electronics
LarsEmil Öjeberget: accordion, stompbox, electronics
